My big girl is now 2 years old and has a lot of hair. Hair that I have to ‘do’ every day. This is accomplished by chasing her around the house with half of a braid finished holding on to the end yelling ‘Wait! Wait! Mommy’s almost done!’ I see now why my mom had my hair so short when I was a kid.
I always used the usual Johnson and Johnson’s baby shampoo on her hair, but now that her fine, thin hair is getting longer, it just doesn’t cut it anymore. It’s so dry during the winter that her head looks like she stuck her hand in a light socket most of the time. I have been looking for something between my expensive adult stuff and the baby stuff for her hair and can tell you I’ve found it.
It’s a line called Snip-its and it includes a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash, conditioner, detangler, mousse, and spiking gel. I’ve used all but the gel on Sofia and love it. Her hair is soft and shiny, no more flyaways, and no crying when I brush thanks to the detangler. She loves the scents – strawberry, bubble gum and watermelon. And of course it’s all no-tears, which helps since my kid won’t tip her head back for rinsing out of principal.
